Innovative fusion cuisine from former commis-chef @ James Beard-winning Alan Wong’s

A Happy Cook Makes Happy Food

Wiwan (May) Pakdee honed her culinary craft at Alan Wong’s, a James Beard award-winning restaurant, where her talents earned her recognition in some of the finest kitchens on O’ahu. With over a decade of experience in both Thai and American cuisine, Wiwan has built a reputation for creating memorable dishes that delight the senses.

Born in Bangkok, she inherited her culinary skills from her mother and pursued her passion at Dusit Thani College, where she refined her approach to cooking. Since relocating from O’ahu to the Salt Lake City area, Wiwan now serves clients in Salt Lake City, Park City, and Deer Valley, bringing her vibrant, flavor-forward creations to a new audience.

Wiwan’s philosophy is simple: food is life, and it has the power to bring people together. She takes joy in using local ingredients to create sustainable dishes, supporting regional farmers and producers in the process. Whether she’s crafting a meal for a gathering of friends or discovering new inspiration from her travels, Wiwan’s enthusiasm for great food shines through in every bite.

After all, a happy cook makes happy food!
